Voice of the Martyrs

There are 200 million Christians suffering for their faith every day, from Cuba to North Africa to the Muslim Middle East, India and the rest of South Asia, North Korea, China, Vietnam, and Indonesia, to name a few. Yet they remain largely
forgotten by the church in the West.

Not Everyone Who Says "Lord, Lord" Will Enter the Kingdom

By Bob Wilkin

Matthew 7:21-23 (King James Version)

 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Recently I received a question from a reader about this passage. He wondered how I would respond to the charge that this passage teaches that one must submit to the Lordship of Christ to be saved.

Will the Body of Christ go into or even through the tribulation ?

by Les Feldick

In Matthew 24:3, the disciples asked about signs of the end. Jesus' direct answer in verse four was, let no man deceive you. Or, in other words, one of the signs is deception or confusion. Now, Matthew 24 is totally tribulation ground, but the world has to be prepared for even that. So, even though we are not seeing the super-natural events of the tribulation which are truly prophesied (i.e. the 2 witnesses of Revelation 11), common sense tells us the world cannot be made ready for the appearance of the Anti-christ and the False Prophet over night. So, we are naturally witnessing all the preparations. I have often likened it to getting the stage ready before the curtain goes up. Therefore, when Jesus warned of deceivers, it follows that we can see that happen before the tribulation begins.

What an awesome and orderly GOD!!

God's accuracy may be observed in the hatching of eggs.

For example:
-the eggs of the potato bug hatch in 7 days;
-those of the canary in 14 days;
-those of the barnyard hen in 21 days;
-The eggs of ducks and geese hatch in 28 days;
-those of the mallard in 35 days;
-The eggs of the parrot and the ostrich hatch in 42 days.
(Notice, they are all divisible by seven, the number of days in a week!)

The lives of each of you may be ordered by the Lord in a beautiful way
for His glory, if you will only entrust Him with your life.  If you try
to regulate your own life, it will only be a mess and a failure.  Only
the One Who made the brain and the heart can successfully guide them to
a profitable end.

God's wisdom is seen in the making of an elephant.  The four legs of
this great beast all bend forward in the same direction.  No other
quadruped is so made. God planned that this animal would have a huge
body, too large to live on two legs.  For this reason He gave it four
fulcrums so that it can rise from the ground easily.

The horse rises from the ground on its two front legs first.  A cow
rises from the ground with its two hind legs first.  How wise the Lord
is in all His works of creation!

God's wisdom is revealed in His arrangement of sections and segments, as
well as in the number of grains.

-Each watermelon has an even number of strips on the rind.
-Each orange has an even number of segments.
-Each ear of corn has an even number of rows.
-Each stalk of wheat has an even number of grains.
-Every bunch of bananas has on its lowest row an even number of bananas,
and each row decreases by one, so that one row has an even number and
the next row an odd number.
-The waves of the sea roll in on shore twenty-six to the minute in all
kinds of weather.

All grains are found in even numbers on the stalks, and the Lord
specified thirty fold, sixty fold, and a hundredfold - all even numbers.

God has caused the flowers to blossom at certain specified times during
the day, so that Linnaeus, the great botanist, once said that if he had
a
conservatory containing the right kind of soil, moisture and
temperature, he   could tell the time of day or night by the flowers
that were open and those that were closed!

Thus the Lord in His wonderful grace can arrange the life that is
entrusted to His care in such a way that it will carry out His purposes
and plans, and will be fragrant with His presence.

Only the God-planned safe life is successful.  Only the life given over
to the care of the Lord is fulfilled.

I HOPE YOU FIND THIS AS FASCINATING AS I DID.....WOW!!!!

May God Bless You In Ways You Never Even Dreamed Today

"What does the Bible say about illegal immigration?" PDF  | Print |  E-mail
Written by Randy A. Harper

Romans 13:1-7 makes it abundantly clear that God expects us to obey the laws of the government. The only exception to this is when a law of the government forces you to disobey a command of God (Acts 5:29). Illegal immigration is the breaking of a governmental law. There is nothing in Scripture that contradicts a nation having immigration laws. Therefore, it is a sin, rebellion against God, to illegally enter into another country.

Do Our rights come from God?

Our rights come from God. They are not privileges extended by the benevolent hand of government. God grants us life, and this fundamental right to life forms the basis for our other rights. Since we have the right to life, we also have the right to sustain life, which involves the utilization of natural resources (another gift from God, not government) to provide food, clothing, and shelter. Our stewardship over natural resources and the resultant fruits of our labor form the basis of another basic right– private property. A third element required in this equation is the liberty to acquire and control property, thus exercising our God given agency. And so we have our basic rights– Life, Liberty, and Property.
